F.A.Q.

What is a Snail Mail Club?

A snail mail club is a monthly mail subscription delivered to your real mailbox. Something you can hold, open slowly, and return to; not junk mail.

The Story Post was created as a small counterbalance to the pace of the digital world. Instead of scrolling, refreshing, or moving on to the next thing, you pause. You read. You notice. Each envelope includes a one-page letter, a photo card, a simple recipe, and a reflective piece, all meant to support a slower, more grounded rhythm of life.

It’s about creating space. A moment each month to step away from urgency and move at a more intentional pace, alongside others who are choosing the same.

Update your address, email, or payment details?

You can make changes here with this link.

Monthly cut-off date and enrollment window.

Here's a quick link to the up-to-date mail schedule.

The monthly enrollment period closes on the 2nd of each month.

Example: If you join on or before July 2nd, then July will be your first Story Post.

If you join on July 3rd or later, your first envelope will ship the following month in August.

When will I get my envelope?

As long as you join before that month’s cutoff date, your Story Post will ship near the end of the month — typically between the 25th and 28th.

You’ll receive an email when your envelope is on its way. After that, please allow up to 14 business days for U.S. delivery and up to 30 business days for international delivery.

Is tracking included?

The Story Post is mailed using standard postage stamps so it can remain simple and affordable. That means tracking isn’t included.

Why you may see overlapping payments.

If you join between the 6th and the end of the month, you may see two charges close together before receiving your first envelope. This happens because billing begins immediately, and the next monthly renewal may occur before your first Story Post ships.

Each payment applies to a separate month’s Story Post and you'll get each one for each month you subscribed.

What is your return policy?

The Story Post is made to order each month with unique artwork and other grounding items, which means returns aren’t offered.

Damaged Orders Policy

If your order arrives damaged please email me at amber@amberjbaldwin.com with your name, order number, and a photo(s) of the issue so I can take a look and help from there.

If you don’t see what you’re looking for here, just send me a note and I’ll be happy to help.

Are Catch up prints a subscription or one-time fee?

Catch up prints are a one-time fee for each catch up that you purchase. These are not subscriptions. I offer these for those who want to "catch up" on previous prints that were part of the subscription mailing. The mail club is a completely different monthly fee that auto-renews.

Tracking and Mailing

The Story Post is mailed using standard postage stamps so it can remain simple and affordable. That means tracking isn’t included.

Each envelope will be sent out around the 28th of each month.

You'll get an email when it is sent.

International envelopes are sent by stamped letter mail with no tracking and no prepaid customs/duties. Depending on your country’s rules, your mailing may be subject to customs, VAT, duties, postal handling fees, delays, or return. These charges are the customer’s responsibility.
